My Grandmother started letting her own serviced apartments in London’s Marylebone in the1950’s. My father took over and also began to find guests for other apartment owners. I started working for my father in 1998.

SELF CATERING APARTMENTS; are usually owned by individuals. Often there is a minimum booking period of 5 nights to a 1 week. Linen and towels are provided and there is weekly cleaning. The apartments are managed but you will feel more like a native in this type of apartment. They are excellent value but you do need to be careful and make sure you do your homework and find out as much as you can about the owners and location. You also have to book early for the peak periods!

SERVICED APARTMENTS; are usually company owned and are in a building of other serviced apartments in varying sizes. There are receptions or managers on site. There are kitchens/kitchenettes and maid service. These apartments will often do a daily rate but are more expensive than a self catering apartments due to the extra services they provide.
